Zofia: The Black and White Fash-hole

Photography by Buck Wilde
I am so excited because today is the day that I get to feature one of my many great buys from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection! I put together this look for a PR event I had this past week at Terrain (can't stress it enough, you MUST go there to eat. Chef Keith is a true genius.) and decided to go all out with black and white to keep it simple and on trend for Spring. I have to hand it to Target...and Prabal! They did a great job with this collection, and given the disaster that was the Neiman Marcus holiday collaboration, they really needed to hit this one out of the park. I truly love everything about this dress. The cut is perfect and the panels of white and black highlight a woman's shape exactly. The length is also spot on and of course, the price can't be beat ($45!!). To finish off the look, I added these amazing black and white peep toe platforms, my favorite chain link bib necklace and a fun white watch. And for a little pop of color, I rocked some bright red nails (my latest color obsession). Shop my look here:

Zofia: The Romantic Fash-hole

Photography by Buck Wilde

Happy Valentine's Day Fash-holes! Today's look comes from this past weekend, when I had to celebrate V-Day as I am leaving today for a work trip. For our night of romance at Terrain (Farm to Table deliciousness in a gorgeous greenhouse with twinkling white lights hanging everywhere--go immediately!), I decided to dress for the occasion and nothing says romance like lace! I love this dress because I have had an obsession with the lace over nude effect ever since I saw a Todd Oldham dress in 7th grade that was like that. There is something so sweet, yet alluring about the look. Since it was cold out, I paired the dress with my favorite maroon blazer and did the black tall boots to keep my legs warm (always important!). I finished this look with a small chain link purse, spiked gold necklace (because I don't want to look too "sweet") and a couple of bangles. Shop the look here:

Zofia: The Mixed Prints Fash-hole

 Photography by Buck Wilde

Happy Sunday Fash-holes! I've been a little behind this week with posting, but I've got some good things coming in the next week (some new Prabal Gurung for Target perhaps?!). Today's look is all about prints. I love a good print and love mixing prints, a delicate move, but when done right can really make an outfit look effortlessly cool. The key to mixing prints is to keep some part connected between the prints, whether that be type, size or color. This outfit works because the prints are both round and the leopard is larger than the print on the pant (it is always best to mix a small print with a larger one to help break both up). To pull it all together and make sure the prints get to make the statement, I kept everything else black and added an edgy spike necklace and red lip to top off the look. Shop my look here:

Zofia: The Layered Fash-hole

Photography by Buck Wilde

Well it looks like Spring will be coming early this year, thank goodness. I am really over these freezing cold temps and I'm ready for some Spring florals! But until then, it looks like I will have to continue the tireless task of looking fashionable while staying warm ; ). Today's look is easy, comfortable and with two layered jackets, sure to keep me cozy. Yesterday, my fiance and I decided to try a new brick oven pizza place called Bufad (excellent pizza, but the standout were the brussels sprouts...oh.my.god.) So I decided to layer my fave plain white tee (it is also 100% recycled and made in the USA-check out SustainU) with my leather jacket and fuzzy faux fur jacket to ensure maximum warmth! And since this was a casual lunch date, I threw on my ultimate comfy sneakers with the hidden heel for a little extra oomph. Shop my look here:

Zofia: The Leopard Fash-hole

Photography by Buck Wilde

Welcome to February Fash-holes! This means one month closer to spring..yessss! Today's look is from date night with my fave person, my fiance, and wearing my newest fave piece, this leopard coat. Rawrrrrrrr! I found this coat while in New York with my mom (well, she actually found it and thought it looked very "me"--the lady gets my taste!) and fell in love with the print, of course, but also the details with the zippers on the sleeves and the asymmetrical zipper up the front. For this look, I decided to pair it with this bright blue dress and pop of neon pink in the purse to play up the fun that a coat like this can bring. Since I was wearing such a bold outfit, I decided to pair it with this great statement necklace and a single bangle. Get the look here:
