I caught this beauty while strolling home from work this Summer. I was taken with her whole white and black ensemble and her ability to look incredibly sweet while also exuding a quiet sexiness. It's a fine line and not one that many can pull off. Once I learned more about her, I can see where it comes from. This lady is not only beautiful and chic, she is also smart, successful and caring, giving back to her country of Ethiopia through her non-profit Seeds of Africa. Zofia: The Sheer Nightgown Fash-hole

Happy September Fash-holes! While we are still in the final throws of Summer (hey, it was 90s this week), I thought I would go back into the archives and post some of my favorite summer looks before Fall finally settles in. This outfit is from a wedding I attended this Summer at the beautiful Philadelphia Water Works for this absolutely stunning bride. I must admit, I love, love, love this whole look and felt like a million bucks in it. The dress was borrowed from my boss and is a vintage nightgown with a simple black slip underneath! And just happened to be that perfect midi length that is a huge trend for Fall and Spring. 

The other favorite part of this look was my hair. I went to see Tasha Jetter at AMS Luxury Salon because I heard she was the best (she used to work at the mothership, Bergdorf Goodman) and it was the only spot in Philly with a Braid Bar. Well, I was not disappointed. In less that 5 minutes Tasha had whipped my hair into a wrap around french braid that felt loose, fresh and romantic, but best of all, did not budge the entire night (and I am a huge head whipping dancer at weddings. Always throw my neck out. Always) and was only $20!! Anyways, Philly ladies, I highly recommend you check her out and she now does ponytails too! Today's post is rather special as this lovely lady just moved away from Philadelphia yesterday! Now, although she is leaving our glorious city, she is moving on to join her (uhh hmm, gorgeous) fiance as he begins his residency at University of Virginia. Not the worst reason to leave in my book! I think it is pretty obvious why I stopped her--Jenn is KILLING IT in that bustier and hot yellow floral skirt! Her and her fiance were on their way to Vetri for a one-last-night-out-in-the-best-city date and well, you can't do much better than Vetri for that! (For those of you not from Philly, Vetri is the best Italian restaurant in the United States-I didn't make that up, it's a fact. And there is like a 3 month waiting list -or more- to go there)

I loved talking to Jenn about her look. She was very excited to show me her exquisite bag--a vintage gem that she found a while back. It is to die for! She also said that although she is moving to Richmond, VA, she is still going to keep rocking her fierce Philadelphia street style. I say Werk.It.Girl. The very best part about stopping this beauty is that I couldn't shake the feeling that I knew her somehow. Five blocks later, I realized I had met her before at my friend Susannah's house! Zofia: The Red, White and Black Fash-hole

Today's post comes from earlier in May when my fiance, Alex, and I attended a wedding in Washington, DC. This was the perfect occasion to show off my newest dress: a sleek all-black mini skirt with long, sheer panels and two (count 'em, two!!) side slits...oh yeah! To keep the dress simple and classy, I paired it with black ankle boots (also one of my most comfortable pair of heels--key when attending a wedding and you are a maniac on the dance floor), a white tuxedo blazer and this gorgeous silver necklace that I inherited from my late Babcia. For a little pop of color, I added a red clutch and bam! outfit was complete. The final pic is me and my boo at the reception at The Top of the Town, an amazing facility with sweeping views of all the DC monuments. Angelita: The Killer Sundress Fash-hole

Welcome back Fash-holes! Today's post comes from one of Philly's hottest spots...The Night Market! If you haven't been, it is a street food festival featuring the city's hottest restaurants and food trucks. With live music and Yards Brewing Company beer, it is a night not to be missed! This post is from the most recent Fairmount Night Market, but in case you missed it, the next one will be in West Oak Lane on June 20th. Now back to fashion....

I spotted this lovely woman as I was leaving the Night Market and had to stop her because her bold red, floral dress caught my attention right away. Not only is the color fantastic, but the cut is perfect and the flowers really pop. Add the cool and comfortable lace up gladiator sandals, a small shoulder bag and simple jewelry and you are ready for summer! But what makes Angelita a true style Fash-hole is her personality. I don't think I have had so much fun stopping to talk to someone on the street before! Real style is having confidence and grace and Angelita had both tenfold. Welcome to Day 3 of Wharton Week, featuring looks both on and off the runway from the Wharton Charity Fashion Show. The past two days have been filled with runway shots of designers such as Michael Kors, Kal Rieman, Zinkē, Lilly Pulitzer and BHLDN (see Day 1 and Day 2). Today's look is one of my favorites. This is Dee and I spotted her on my way back from the gym a couple of nights ago. I was drawn to her first by her totally cool silver shoes, which caught the light and kinda glowed. Then there was her on-trend ankle skimming skinny jeans...in leopard! Add the cozy, slouchy sweater with the elegant high gloves and I was sold. Not to mention her hair. This is the hair I dream of having (and could have been close to having had genetics worked in my favor...my mom has wildly fabulous thick, curly hair). Zofia: The Urban Hipster Fash-hole

This look is from this past long weekend, perfect for strolling around the city on a beautiful and unseasonably warm day (and now it is below freezing-wtf global warming...). Let me start by admitting that this look represents 3 of my current obsessions: blazers, triangles and hidden heeled sneakers. Ok, well I have been into blazers for awhile (I own no less than 8), but I really love this H&M steal (only $20 on sale!) because of the fit, gorgeous maroon color and the pleat detailing on the back. This triangle necklace is an amazing birthday present from my Granny--that lady has some style--and I wear it at least every other day. My latest and greatest obsession though belongs to these sneaks. I was immediately smitten when I first saw the Isabel Marant sneakers on Ashley Madekwe's blog, Ring My Bell (she is best known for playing Ashley on Revenge-Best show ever!). I wanted to get the look, but not at the Marant price. I was going to buy a pair from TopShop, when I spotted an exact replica at Target for $35! Needless to say, I was sold. They are comfortable, fun and add 3 inches without anyone knowing...perfection. Shop my look here:
